Our Mission

To enable and support, through the funds we raise, the vital research programs at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine.

Our Vision

To imagine - and help create - a World Without Cancer

Our Impact

The Pap Corps Champions for Cancer Research is one of the largest volunteer fundraising organizations in South Florida with over 50 chapters and over 22,000 members all dedicated to supporting research for all types of cancer at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only academic hospital in our community. A recent study published in The Journal of the American Medical Association, shows that if you're a cancer patient, you're more likely to survive your cancer when treated at Sylvester, than nearly any other hospital in the nation. Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is among an elite group of eleven cancer research centers - and the only one in South Florida.

The Pap Corps has donated more than $110 million to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center including a historic $50 million pledge in 2016 dedicating The Pap Corps Campus at Sylvester at Deerfield Beach.

Pap Corps funds support research efforts and help recruit world-renowned researchers and physicians. Also provided matching gifts of $400,000 to the Community Foundation of Broward County to fund a new precision medicine trial in Broward and Palm Beach counties testing patients with late-stage cancer.
