Chef Corbin joined Boca Woods in July 2019. He was the executive chef at Lago Mar for two years, five years at Boca West and seven years at Hunters Run Golf & Racquet Club as executive sous chef. Chef Corbin grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota and has lived in Florida since 2003. He earned an associate degree in Culinary Arts at the Minneapolis Art Institute and interned at Charlie Trotters in Chicago for six months. He has been an active member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) since 2005.

Rowan Newman joined Boca Woods in 2021. He has almost 20 years of experience working in Palm Beach County Country Clubs. He started his career at Boca West Country Club as an international employee from Capetown, South Africa. This is where he worked his way into a management training program that allowed him to stay on staff year-round. He remained at Boca West for nearly ten years, where he gained the knowledge to work every outlet of the seven fullservice restaurants on site, his favorite being the fine dining steak house. When given the opportunity to further his career, Rowan moved to Hunters Run Country Club in Boynton Beach in 2013. This is where he began broadening his knowledge of food, menu writing, and teamwork as a Sous Chef. He remained at Hunters Run until now, and he is excited to be a part of such a talented management team that is so passionate about their crafts. He looks forward to adding his expertise to the group. Rowan is a Boca Raton resident where he lives with his wife and children.
Jimmy Sta Rosa
Jimmy was born and raised in the Philippines, he moved to the United States at age 21. He began his career with country clubs at age 23 working as a bus boy at High Ridge Country Club in Lake Worth, Florida. After gaining years of experience in the hospitality industry, he excelled by quickly moving up through different positions within Food & Beverage.
He particularly enjoys planning layouts for events and adding his touch to dining occasions and private functions. He loves working with his team of employees and keeping Boca Woods a fun and welcoming place to work.
Jimmy has been with us since 2001 as a Food & Beverage Manager, he loves getting to know the membership and their extended families throughout the years, as well as welcoming new members into our Club.

Andrew Howisen is an 18-year veteran of the food and beverage industry; he not only brings significant experience and leadership but also a passion to provide next level service to Members. Andrew has spent the last three years of his career as a Food & Beverage Director Consultant traveling across the nation to evaluate Food & Beverage operations.
He has consulted for boutique and flagship hotels alike, under several different groups and ownerships. Andrew specializes in implementing vision driven systems, training programs and menu design that structure operations for executional success with the goal of creating experiences within Food & Beverage, and managing efficiently... Quality and Value, without Compromise.
Previously, Andrew served as the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage for South Seas Island Resort overseeing a 21-million-dollar five restaurant resort operation on Captiva Island. Andrew now resides in Boca Raton with his fiancé and daughters. He finds himself at a point in life that he is ready to put down roots, and he looks forward to meeting you in the days and weeks ahead.
